E3

So I'm lagging on writing this, but Thursday, before work, I popped over to Hollywood & Highland and took the subway down to the Staples Center for a very quick run through E3. Unfortunately, I had to be in Century City for noon, so I was literally running around like crazy.

I haven't been to E3 in a couple of years, and it's definitely much more intense. Blinking lights, video games and boobies everywhere. It's an ADD nightmare!

Unfortunately, most of my pictures didn't come out (you'd be surprised how blurry pictures can get when you take them while walking). I snapped a couple shots, which will really give you no idea what it was like, but, here they are anyway:

I was hoping this was Call of Duty 3, but it unfortunately turned out to be a trailer for PS3:

OK good, I don't feel so guilty for commenting on that other post - everyone else's doing it. =) Cute story, and boy do I sympathize. It IS interesting that no matter how out we are, we can still get into situations that compromise our comfort level. I'll be hanging with ultra-right Baptist relatives in a couple weeks & altho they know, they do NOT approve! So just my luck I'll have some hawt busboy cruising me in front of them.

Last summer I was w/my parents at a redneck lobster shack in the middle of Nowhere, Maine, and we had the cutest swishy blond muscle boy for a waiter. (My parents are way cooler than the Baptists but still!) I found out he works there summers but lives in Lauderdale, frequently visits NY. Dingdingdingding! He was working the gift shop register afterward & finally I had half a second away from the 'rents, grabbed a corner of newspaper, scratched my number on it, & when I left I shook his hand & pressed the paper into his hand. Said to call next time he was here. It felt so cute & furtive, like 1950 or something! =)
