I don't think any cell provider gets it right... except for Samsung, but they seem to have some sort of Bluetooth phobia.

Sony was the most customizable. I miss a lot of the S-E features. :-/

meh. RAZR seems over priced and unstunning from what people have been telling me. I still think it's a cute as hell phone, but everyone's been underwhelmed by it who've used it. :-/

I'm liking a full keyboard.

One thing, my S-E phones drove me crazy in some ways, but I miss them. The menus on them, which take getting used to at first, let you do just about everything. There are so many things I can't do with the Moto. They just don't have the same functionality. :-(

BUT.. I have an AIM client, a much better email client, and a full keyboard now!

After I wrote the first post of this thread, I decided to sell the "bargain" Sony-Ericsson on eBay or something and splurge on a new Motorola.

I thought you were on Cingular? Did you buy the A630 from T-Mobile and then unlock it?

Nah... I'm T-Mo... my last phone was a Cingular T616 because I wanted the possibility of roaming on GSM850 since T-Mo and AT&T have that roaming pact.

I haven't unlocked the A630 yet... but I will at some point. I don't like my phone being locked!

I do... but you know, oddly enough, I'm a little slower typing with the full keyboard than T9 and multi tap. I'm sure it's just a matter of getting used to, but your thumbs have so many buttons to traverse v. the 12 keys for multi-tap (which are larger). I think it's just a matter of getting used to the new keyboard, but I hadn't realized how comfortable T9 on my old phone had gotten after teaching it over all this time. :/

oh, and it's much smaller than the Sidekick (which I think is neat, but a little too big).
