Microsoft launch party

Tonight I went to the Microsoft launch party at the Avalon for their new MSN redesign coming out. Whatev the excuse to throw a party ... works for me. This pic is one of two MSN butterflies running around. The girls were cute as hell, but I would have much preferred to see a hot guy in those quite revealing butterfly leotards. ;)

I don't think I've mentioned this previously... but one of my biggest fears at parties is falling into the pool (and oddly probably more out of concern for my cell phone and wallet than my pride). Regardless, I avoid the edge like the plague. Surprisingly, despite mad drunkenness, I've never been at a party where it's happened (to me or someone else). Well, at least not that I remember. This time, however, while I was visiting the restroom, a girl wasn't paying attention and walked right into it. Yikes. I took home this really cool bottle of Voss water. I'm such a dork, but the bottle was hella cool!

This week I've been settling into my new officle. Maybe I'll take bad cell phone pics. Maybe I won't.

Right now, I'm going to go enjoy the rest of my Microsoft-provided buzz.
