There was a bee in my car when I got back from lunch.
I could've died today. The only good thing is I didn't discover it until I parked. I hate to imagine what would have happened if I'd seen it while I was driving. I probably would've come to a screeching stop on the side of the road, ran out flailing my arms, and then called AAA to come turn off the car and get it out.
I think it must have flown in the moonroof or window when I was beeping my FOB on the thingie to get in the parking lot. The idiots put a bush with bee–attracting flowers on it right by the thingie.
I think they're trying to kill us.
Damn terrorist bees.

Date: 2006-02-01 04:28 am (UTC)Bee + Car = Death. I wouldn't be able to pull over to the side... I'd probably jump out before even realizing that I should have pushed the brake first. :P

Date: 2006-02-01 04:53 am (UTC)When I was 5 years old I was stung by an entire hive full of bees. If my dad hadn't been around to give me a shot I would have died of anaphylactic shock. So I don't like bees much at all. Only thing worse than bees/wasps/hornets are spiders.
You know bees are repelled by smoke (just like me). Perhaps you should start smoking in your car. Just to be on the safe side.

Date: 2006-02-01 02:19 pm (UTC)Especially those big black wasps that are like field mice with wings. THOSE HURT!!! But bees don't phase me as much anymore.
Funny story though - I was helping a friend move a few summers ago, and we were carrying one of the chairs from the living room. As we're walking out, this yellow-jacket is buzzing around me. I took my right and out from the bottom of the chair and just backhanded it, haha. It went slamming in to the side of the house.
I don't know if it ended up dying or what, but it was never seen or heard from again :P My friend on the other hand, had to put the chair down cause he was laughing too hard haha. I guess you had to see it.

Date: 2006-02-01 06:29 pm (UTC)LOL so great. I've had a bee come up to the window (from the outside) at a stop light a couple times and screamed so loud...maybe it's a gay thing?
