davidologyLast night's concert at the Hollywood Bowl was simply awesome.
The Village People opened for her, whereupon I learned I've been doing the "M" and "C" in "YMCA" totally wrong (the "M" does not go over your head, and the "C" is done backwards so the audience in front of you sees it correctly... who knew?) Anywho... I have some pics of that part of the concert too. I'll probably post some once I have a chance to edit them.
Cher rocked out, and the fireworks show was amazing.
Cher's grand entrance
The Diva herself on one of the Bowl's new screens next to the great Bear Flag. I really liked this shot. It's kind of blurry (as are some others). It's really hard to hold the camera steady at these slow shutter speeds—a task that was not made easier by the fact that my roommate made the thermos of Vodka and cran we brought hella strong (that and I'm a lush).
...and then came the finale.

Date: 2005-05-02 05:23 pm (UTC)OMG my whole section at the bowl and every which way i looked were sitting down! there was random boys standing up and dancing around but for the most part, all sitting!!!
regardless it was Cher and I had fun!! i will miss seeing her farewell tour every year.
and i was not sure if i was being drunk/dyslexic when i saw that sign read 'follow you this bitches!' who ever did it got lucky it was the last show as it doesnt matter if they get fired.

Date: 2005-05-02 11:23 pm (UTC)2. the treatment did work for me as well but when i finally did decided to enjoy the show and get on my feet it kicked in and i had to pee REALLY BAD. like i was dancing (or trying to) with my legs crossed, finally when the fireworks went off i ran thru 329058 people to get to the restroom.
