There are so many things to think about for moving like this.

Tonight, we had to put up the NO PARKING signs we got from our encroachment permit. They have to be put up at least 72 hours in advance, and my ass is not getting up before 8 am to go put this shite up. It's actually raining tonight, so hopefully the signs will survive until Saturday.

Tomorrow night, I need to pack up some of the computers. Thursday night, we have to take the TVs and computers over to be ready for the cable guy. Cable and gas can come as early as like 8 am, so I need to sleep there (on the floor) Thursday night, without cable and internet. Friday one of us has to try to get home early to park the car in the street near the driveway so we can keep that spot for the moving truck.

Beyond all those logistics, I also realized that "Enterprise" comes on Friday, and I'm not 100% sure where I or TiVo will be. I don't want to miss an episode. I can't. oh, and we're still not done packing.

Moving is too disruptive.

Trying... As much as I would love to, at this point, I'm lucky if I can get myself packed and moved in time. My life is going to be in quite the disarray for at least several more days.

If I'm lucky, I will be able to resume some semblance of a life by Sunday.

There's a slim chance IF the cable and gas companies come early on Friday and finish that I MIGHT be able to. But they would have to be done very early as one of us has to park to block a street spot for the truck, and we have to get the UHAUL truck by 5:30 on Friday.

Unfortunately, the gas appointment is an all day appointment, and they can show up anywhere from 7 am until they are done working for the day (which could go into the evening).

I'm at their mercy if I want heat (and I do).
