:( So sorry that your fun night out was ruined. The good thing is that all of things are replaceable, and it sounds like you got ahold of your credit card companies and such before any harm could be done.
Anyway, I hope your Christmas goes well regardless. I was gonna tell you that I'm going to be in LA for the first time next weekend, but it sounds like you won't be back before the new year. I've had amazing luck meeting LJ friends in person--some of my better friends actually--so I usually try and meet them whenever I go to a new city.
