I won't state the obvious that isn't being stated oh so happily all over LJ, CNN, etc. etc.
But...
Is it possible for one to die of schadenfreude?Seriously, regardless of your political leanings, it's a good day for gay marriage and fairness, and hopefully at least a slowing to the downward spiral our country has been in as of late.
Anyway, on to other things. I've been in a bit of a spending frenzy lately:
Was it two weeks ago the Dash launched? (one of T-Mobile's new smartphones). I hated to part with the MDA, but, let's be honest, the thing's a brick! I was there the morning it launched, and signed my life away to Catherine Zeta Jones for one more year. My MDA is still in my closet should I need a Pocket PC, but the Dash is sooo slender. Yes, it's only running Windows Mobile 5 for Smartphones, but the form factor of that thing rocks.
Then my roommate got the Pearl (the new Blackberry). I'm not really a Blackberry fan necessarily, but that thing is effing sweet.
Of course, today, I picked up Call of Duty 3 (finally). I noticed that the Xbox wireless headset that they've been teasing me with for the past several months had finally arrived, so I had to get it too. (I really hope bonus checks come in before the Amex bill.) :-D
Anyway, happy post election day to all, and to all a good night.
