That's interesting. I can relate as I used to live in Miami, although it was years ago. Even so, I don't think it has changed much. Then again, I don't think it was infested with the same kind of repuglican conservatism that festers in San Diego. I've heard what it's like down there.
There was a guy who taught abdominals at a gym I used to belong to who moved there a few years ago. I suspect he'd fit in there even though he's as gay as you or me; he's pretty conservative and never struck me as being particularly cool, not that I'm one to talk.
